Winning low carbon ideas to be heard in Parliament - as part of 'Climate Week' - PUBLIC SESSION CANCELLED

The formal meeting (as announced below on 16 March) with Climate Week award winners has been cancelled. The Chair will instead meet them informally at 2.30pm

The Environmental Audit Committee will mark “Climate Week”, which starts on 21 March, with a one-off hearing from award-winning businesses, public bodies and individuals and groups who have made outstanding efforts to combat climate change.

The session is open to the press and the public and will take place on Monday 21 March 2011, in the Wilson Room, Portcullis House.

- Climate Week award winners, including business and technology winners, public bodies, individuals, communities and campaign leaders.
Earlier on the day, award winners in 14 categories will receive awards for their efforts and initiatives from climate change minister Chris Huhne MP at Lancaster House, and some will then come to the House of Commons to tell members of the Environmental Audit Committee about their achievements.
