The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee will be taking evidence from the Secretary of State for the second time this Parliament on Wednesday 30 March 2011, Thatcher Room, Portcullis House, House of Commons.

Background

The Committee has been conducting inquiries into Corporation Tax in Northern Ireland and Northern Ireland as an enterprise zone. It is expected that these topics will be the main focuses of the Committee’s questions.

The session follows the 2011 Budget and the publication by HM Treasury of a consultation document, Rebalancing the Northern Ireland economy.
