The Scottish Affairs Committee meets organisations in Inverness on Monday 28 March to discuss issues relating to the affairs and administration of the Crown Estate in Scotland

The following organisations will meet with the Committee:

Highland Council; Highlands and Islands Enterprise; Community Land Scotland; Tenant Farmers’ Association; Scottish Renewables; Scottish and Southern Energy; Scottish European Green Energy Centre; Scottish Anglers National Association, The RSPB, Scottish Salmon Producers' Organisation and Independent Experts.

The Committee received a significant amount of evidence in relation to the Crown Estate during its recent inquiry into the Scotland Bill, and announced that it would conduct a separate inquiry into the Crown Estate on 16 February 2011. The private meetings are a prelude to the Committee announcing terms of reference and inviting written evidence for its inquiry into the Crown Estate in Scotland.

At a later date, the Committee intends to visit communities in Scotland affected by the work of the Crown Estate. Further details will be available in due course.
