Lords Question Minister on Libya

Alistair Burt MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, was questioned on the EU’s response to events in North Africa by Members of the House of Lords on Thursday 24 March.

The Lords EU Sub-Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence & Development policy asked the Minister about the latest developments in Libya and measures that the EU is taking in response to the crisis.

The Minister was also asked about how recent events in North African countries will affect long term relations between the Arab world and the EU.

The evidence session took place at 11:30am on Thursday 24 March in Committee Room 1 of the House of Lords.
