MPs to hear from Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group plc

The Committee of Public Accounts will today hear evidence from the Chief Executives of Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group.

The Committee will take evidence from the Chief Executives of Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group plc, which received the predominant share of Government support during the financial crisis.

The taxpayer has acquired 83 % of RBS (but 68 % of the voting rights) and 41 % of Lloyds (of both ordinary shares and voting rights).
