The House of Lords Communications Committee will take evidence from newly appointed Director of BBC Vision George Entwistle and former BBC Director-General Greg Dyke on Tuesday 3 May. David Jordan, the BBC’s Director of Editorial Policy and Standards will also give evidence.

At 4.30:

  • Greg Dyke, former Director-General BBC

Mr Entwistle and Mr Jordon will be questioned by the Committee about compliance processes at the BBC, the role of the BBC’s Editorial Policy Unit and compliance breaches. They will also be asked about complaints procedures and what, if anything, they would change about the way the BBC is governed.

Immediately following, the Committee will take evidence from Greg Dyke, former BBC Director-General. The Committee will ask Mr Dyke about the relationship between the BBC Executive and Governors, content regulation and the creation of the BBC Trust.
