Comments from the Chair

Committee Chair Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP said:

"The challenges faced by radicalisation in the UK are not associated to any one individual group. I look forward to hearing from those who deal with the issue of far-right extremism and the possible threat that this poses.
Amid uncertainty over which organisations the police should partner with to tackle radicalisation and following concerns raised by other witnesses on the relationships the police have with local communities, I also look forward to hearing from ACPO officials who deliver the Government's Prevent agenda on behalf of the police."
