This will be the Committee’s only evidence session of its inquiry into Oversight of Administrative Justice. It takes place on 22 November 2011 in Committee Room 19.

Particular issues to be explored may include:

  • The effects of the Government’s proposal to abolish the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council following enactment of the Public Bodies Bill
  • The Ministry of Justice’s arrangements for review of the administrative justice system, including the resourcing of its administrative justice function
  • The Government’s priorities for the administrative justice system, and how these are to be given effect
