On Tuesday 25 October 2011 the Committee will hold its first Evidence Session on Private Foundations in Committee Room 5, Palace of Westminster at 10.30am

  • Peter McDermott, Managing Director, Children's Investment Fund Foundation

This is the first evidence session for the Private Foundations inquiry. The first panel provides the opportunity for a general discussion of the role of foundations in international development, including the implications of their growing engagement in the sector. The second panel features two UK-based foundations of differing size, and will be a chance to explore how the organisations work and their relationships with DFID and multilateral organisations.
