The Scottish Affairs Committee takes evidence on The Scotland Office and Office of the Advocate General for Scotland Annual Report 2011.

Background

The Scotland Office published its annual report on 30 June 2011. The Scottish Affairs Committee took oral evidence from the Secretary of State on Wednesday 13 July, regarding this Report and other topics of interest to the Committee.

The Committee will now follow up on its previous meeting and review the work of the Scotland Office so far this session. 

Areas the Committee may cover during the session include the Strategic Defence Review, the Crown Estate, the Scotland Bill, Health and Safety in Scotland, Supporting Scotland’s Economy and the referendum on separation for Scotland.
