MPs to hold Tiree community drop-in session

Background
Members of the Scottish Affairs Select Committee will be holding a drop in session on the Isle of Tiree for members of the public to come and discuss community and business issues with the MPs.
The Westminster-based select committee is visiting the Isle of Tiree as part of a short tour of Tiree and the Western Isles in connection with its inquiry into the Crown Estate in Scotland.
The Committee is also taking the opportunity of the visit to discuss issues relating to the economic viability of small communities, in relation to its inquiry into supporting Scotland’s economy, and health and safety in Scotland.
The Scottish Affairs Committee is a House of Commons select committee which examines the administration, policy and expenditure of the Scotland Office and relations with the Scottish Parliament.
The committee members attending the drop in session are: Ian Davidson MP (Chair), Jim McGovern MP, Fiona O’Donnell MP, Alan Reid MP and Lindsay Roy MP.
