The Joint Committee on Human Rights is to hold its first evidence session in connection with its inquiry into the role and independence of the Office of the Children's Commissioner for England.

  • Sarah Teather MP, Minister of State for Children and Families, Department for Education.

The meeting is open to members of the public. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes to pass through security checks. There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in Committee Rooms. Members of the public enter via the Visitors Entrance, next St Stephens Entrance, the Palace of Westminster.
