The Defence Select Committee first evidence session in the inquiry into the Future Maritime Capability will consist of two panels

- Rear Admiral Tony Rix CB, (retired)
- Dr Lee Willett, Senior Research Fellow, Maritime Studies, Royal United Services Institute
The first panel will include independent experts on the UK’s current and future requirements for maritime surveillance capabilities
And at 3.30 pm (approximately)
Ministry of Defence
- Edward Ferguson, Head, Defence Strategy and Priorities,
- Rear Admiral Ian Corder, Commander Operations Maritime Operations
- Air Vice-Marshal Mark Green CBE, Director Joint and Air Capability and Transformation
- Air Commodore Robert Noel, ISTAR Force Commander
- Captain Russell Pegg OBE, Head, National Maritime Information Centre
The second panel will include MoD officials and UK Armed Forces personnel with responsibility for maritime surveillance capabilities on the overarching strategic requirements for these capabilities.
