Request for evidence on unsuccessful regional growth fund bids

On 12 June 2012, the Committee announced a short inquiry into progress with LEPs and the regional growth fund. The first of two evidence sessions in that inquiry will be held on the morning of 11 September 2012.
The Committee remains interested to hear from any RGF bidders who have to date been unsuccessful in bidding; with specific relation to any problems experienced with the bidding process and bidding criteria. Evidence could either be given orally in open session on 11 September, or if preferred, by confidential, unattributed briefing or in confidential, written evidence.
Organisations interested in wishing to provide evidence are invited to inform the Committee by close of business on Thursday 30 August 2012.
