International conference on leadership and standards in police service

The Home Affairs Committee is today announcing its International conference on leadership and standards in the police service.
The Conference will be held at the House of Commons on Monday 14 January 2013, between 9.30am and 1.00pm. The Conference is now full and closed to applicants.
Speakers will include:
- Khoo Boon Hui, Interpol President & Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore
- Bob Paulson Commissioner, Royal Canadian Mounted Police
- Tom Winsor, Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary
- Bernard Hogan-Howe Commissioner, Metropolitan Police
- Sir Hugh Orde, President, Association of Chief Police Officers
- Lord Wasserman, House of Lords
- Dr Louise Westmarland, Senior Lecturer in Criminology, Open University

The remit of the Home Affairs Committee is to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Home Office and its associated public bodies.
