The Foreign Affairs Committee is postponing its previously-announced evidence session with Rt Hon William Hague MP, foreign secretary, from Tuesday 29 January to Wednesday 6 February.

The evidence session will now be held as follows:

2.30 pm, Venue TBC (please check the Committee’s website after 31 January)

Members of the public wishing to attend the meeting are advised to allow approximately 20 minutes to pass through security

At 2.30 pm

  • Rt Hon William Hague MP, First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs
  • Senior FCO officials (names to be confirmed).

The Committee will question the Foreign Secretary about the Government’s policies for the EU and the UK’s place in it, in light of the major speech on his EU policy which the Prime Minister is expected to have made by the time of the evidence session. This is the fourth and expected to be the final evidence session for the Committee’s inquiry.
