This session will cover the Fisheries Council decisions on Total Allowable Catches (TACs) and quotas, and progress towards CFP reform.

The objective of the current Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) is to ensure exploitation of living aquatic resources that provides sustainable economic, environmental and social conditions. It includes measures concerning the conservation and exploitation of marine biological resources, conditions of access, management of fleet capacity, control and enforcement, aquaculture, the common market organisation, and international relations.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 5 December at 2.45pm in Committee Room 16, Palace of Westminster.
