Lord Heseltine questioned on Strategic Thinking in Government

As part of the Public Administration Select Committee's (PASC) continuing interest in strategic thinking in Government and Civil Service reform, the Committee will hold a one-off evidence session with the Rt Hon the Lord Heseltine of Thenford. Members will question Lord Heseltine on the contents of his recent report, No stone left unturned in pursuit of growth, which was commissioned by the Prime Minister in March 2012, and published in October. This takes place on Wednesday 5 December in Committee Room 15, Palace of Westminster.

Particular issues to be explored may include:

  • Lord Heseltine's proposals to reform the Civil Service
  • the Government's capacity for strategic thinking
  • how Government procurement can be improved
