Committee questions Attorney General and senior judge on extradition

The Commons Home Affairs Committee takes evidence on extradition at 11.20am on Tuesday 28 February in the Grimmond Room, Portcullis House.
Issues
The purpose of this session is to explore issues relating to extradition with four experts on the subject.
Judge Riddle is Senior District Judge at Westminster Magistrates Court and has several years' experience of hearing extradition cases.
Sir Menzies Campbell is carrying out a review of extradition policy on behalf of Nick Clegg.
The Attorney General and the Director of Public Prosecutions are involved in decisions relating to extradition, in particular whether or not to prosecute the accused in this country or whether to allow an application for extradition to proceed.
