Support for Veterans in Wales: first session in Llandudno

The House of Commons Welsh Affairs Committee will take evidence in Llandudno as part of its inquiry into support for armed forces veterans in Wales.

Details: Tuesday 7 February at 9.30am, Venue Cymru, Llandudno

Witnesses: Alistair Maxwell, Regional Manager for the Midlands, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, Royal British Legion; Mark Lovatt, Manager, St Dunstan's Centre in Llandudno; and Clive Wolfendale, Chief Executive, CAIS

The evidence session will take place at Venue Cymru in Llandudno. This evidence session is open to the public and press, all are welcome to attend. The venue is fully accessible.

The evidence session will follow the MPs’ visit on Monday 6 February to the St Dunstan’s centre at LLandudno, which provides rehabilitation and training services to ex-Service men and women. The Members will be offered a tour of the facility, meet with some current trainees and local forces veterans and discuss issues relevant to their inquiry.
