MPs take further evidence on library closures

The Culture, Media and Sport Committee will hold its second evidence session as part of its inquiry into library closures.

Witnesses

The Committee will hear from two panels.

Tuesday 21 February, Committee Room 15, Palace of Westminster 

At 10.30 am: 

  • Alan Davey, Chief Executive, Arts Council England
  • Annie Mauger, Chief Executive, Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP)

At 11:30 am: 

  • David Pugh, Leader, Isle of Wight Council
  • Nigel Thomas, Service Delivery Manager, Leicestershire Library Services
  • Elizabeth Campbell, Councillor, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council, representing the Local Government Association
