Treasury Committee to take evidence from the FSA on the Mortgage Market Review

The City watchdog the Financial Services Authority has been looking at the mortgage market for the past two years. After a series of consultations it has published a report outlining how it wants to change the way lenders and mortgage brokers operate.

The Treasury Committee has decided to hold an evidence session with the FSA on Wednesday 14 March at 10.00am. The room will be confirmed the Thursday before the meeting. The witnesses are as follows:

  • Lord Turner, Chairman, and
  • Martin Wheatley, Managing Director, Conduct Business Unit, Financial Services Authority
