Purpose of the Session
In the session the Committee will examine issues and concerns relating to schools and children's services which were raised in the Annual Report 2010/11 of Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector, Ofsted, published 22 November 2011.
The session also gives the Committee an opportunity to question Sir Michael Wilshaw following his recent appointment as Chief Inspector and to follow up on the recommendations made in its report on the Role and Performance of Ofsted which was published in April 2011.
