What one education policy question do you think the Committee should ask Michael Gove?
On 31 January the Education Committee holds an oral evidence session with Secretary of State for Education Michael Gove. MPs on the Committee want to ensure that their questions reflect the most pressing concerns in the world of education and want to hear what questions you would put to the Minister.

About the Education Committee
The Education Committee scrutinises the policy, administration and spending of the Department for Education and its associated bodies, including Ofsted, on behalf of the House of Commons. As part of this work the Committee regularly holds evidence sessions with Department for Education ministers and officials including the Secretary of State for Education.
Commons Committees
There is a Commons Committee for each government department, examining three aspects: policies, spending and administration. These departmental committees have a minimum of 11 members, who decide upon the line of inquiry and then gather written and oral evidence. Findings are reported to the Commons, printed, and published on the Parliament website. The government then has 60 days to reply to the committee's recommendations.
