Committee takes evidence on recall of MPs

The Political and Constitutional Reform Committee will take evidence on the Government’s proposals for the recall of MPs.

Purpose of session
The purpose of this session is to open the committee's pre-legislative scrutiny of the Government's proposals for the recall of MPs, by questioning witnesses who have campaigned on the subject, and an academic with knowledge of the operation of recall in other jurisdictions.
