Westminster Hall Debate on The FCO's Human Rights Work 2010-11

On Thursday 26 January there will be a debate in Westminster Hall on the Foreign Affairs Committee's Eighth Report of Session 2010-12: The FCO’s Human Rights Work 2010-11. The debate is expected to start at around 4.00 pm and will follow a debate on a report from the International Development Committee. Both debates are open to the public.

The debate on the Foreign Affairs Committee’s Report will focus on the Committee’s conclusions and the subsequent Government response.

 

The Report to be debated is:

Also relevant is the Government Response, (CM 8169) (PDF 1.02 MB), published September 2011

Members of the public wishing to attend should enter via the Visitor Centre, from where they will be directed through security and to Westminster Hall. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes for this. Please ensure that mobile phones and pagers are turned off before entering Westminster Hall. Under no circumstances should members of the public address Members during the debate. Those attending the debate are asked to remain silent throughout.
