Purpose of session

This session continues the Committee's pre-legislative scrutiny of the Government's proposals for the recall of MPs.  The purpose of the session is to question witnesses who would play a role in the proposed process for triggering a recall petition via a resolution of the House of Commons, and House officials with expertise in the practices and procedures of the House.
