Committee to hear from Minister on child exploitation

Tim Loughton MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Children, will give evidence in the Committee’s inquiry on Localised child grooming.

Committee Chair Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP said:

“Child grooming and exploitation is present across the UK and in every culture and social class, but the reasons are poorly understood.
 
Following our shocking evidence from Deputy Children’s Commissioner, Sue Berelowitz, the Home Affairs Committee have called the Minister to hear what steps he is taking to prevent this crime and protect those most vulnerable".
