Lord Browne questioned on role as Government's Lead Non-Executive

The Public Administration Select Committee will take evidence from Lord Browne of Madingley, the Government’s Lead Non-Executive, in a one-off evidence session. Members will question Lord Browne about his first two years in this post and the work of the Non-Executive members of departmental Management Boards. This session takes place on Tuesday 10 July 2012 in Committee Room 17.

Particular issues to be explored may include:

  • the performance of departmental Boards;
  • the contribution made by Non-Executives;
  • the working relationship between Non-Executives and departmental Ministers and officials; and
  • the work of the Non-Executives Network.
