FCO Minister Alistair Burt appears before Foreign Affairs Committee

The Minister is giving evidence to the Foreign Affairs Committee as part of its inquiry into "British foreign policy and the 'Arab Spring': the transition to democracy". This is the fourth and final oral evidence session in the inquiry and follows the Committee's visit to Egypt, Libya and Tunisia earlier this month.

The Committee will question the Minister about the UK's relations with those countries that are undergoing democratic transition and the implications of the Arab Spring for security and democracy in the wider region.
