The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee will take evidence from Rt Hon Hugo Swire MP, Minister of State for Northern Ireland, on the "decade of centenaries".

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee will take evidence on the Government’s plans to mark the “decade of centenaries”: the years 2012-22 will see a series of centenaries, marking 100 years since some of the most important events in the shared history of the UK and Ireland, including the signing of the Ulster Covenant, the First World War, the Easter Rising, the War of Independence and the establishment of Northern Ireland.
