This is the Committee's second evidence session as part of the inquiry The role and future of the Commonwealth. The Committee has previously taken evidence from Senator Hugh Segal, the Canadian Special Envoy for Commonwealth Renewal.
This session is intended to give a general overview of the Commonwealth; future sessions will focus particularly on the Commonwealth's benefits to the UK and any reforms the Commonwealth should undertake.
