Referendum On Separation For Scotland: Unanswered Questions

The Scottish Affairs Committee asks for written submissions by Wednesday 9 May 2012.
On 15 February 2012, the Scottish Affairs Committee published its Report The Referendum on Separation for Scotland: Unanswered Questions, which set out a number of questions which would need to be answered before the public could be asked to make an informed choice in a Referendum on Separation.
The Committee is about to undertake the second phase of this inquiry, and has identified the following six key issues on which it wishes to invite written submissions:
- Currency
- The EU
- Pensions and Social Security
- Economics
- Defence
- Citizenship and immigration
The Committee welcomes initial written evidence from interested parties on any, or all, aspects of this inquiry by 9 May 2012. Should you wish to submit written evidence after this date, please contact Committee staff.
Submissions should be in Word or rich text format and sent by e-mail to scotaffcom@parliament.uk. Do not send in PDF format. The body of the e-mail must include a contact name, telephone number and postal address. The e-mail should also make clear who the submission is from.
Submissions must address the terms of the inquiry and should not, as a rule, exceed 2,000 words. Paragraphs should be numbered for ease of reference, and the document should include an executive summary.
