Purpose of the Session

Following on from meeting with NGOs and visiting EU institutions in Brussels this is a chance for the Committee to scrutinise the Minister on the central questions of the inquiry - the advantages and disadvantages of spending UK aid for development and humanitarian purposes through the EU and its institutions, and, how much influence the UK can exert over EU spending decisions.
