Committee to visit two London libraries

On Tuesday 22 May 2012 the Commons Culture Media and Sport Committee will visit two libraries offering different types of facilities and approaches to service provision in its inquiry into the proposed closure of libraries across the UK, as part of cost saving measures by local councils.
Library visit
The Committee will start at Pimlico Library at 9.30am and moving to the Canary Wharf Idea Store at 10.15-30. There will be a brief photo opportunity in each library at the beginning of each visit, and there may be time for a brief interview with the Members at the end of each visit.
