Automatic enrolment in workplace pensions and NEST: Government response published

The Work and Pensions Committee will publish the Government’s Response to its report on Automatic enrolment in workplace pensions and the National Employment Savings Trust on Friday 25 May at 11.00 am.
The Committee's report, published in March, assessed the Government’s proposals for introducing automatic enrolment in workplace pension schemes, which will be phased in from October 2012, and the operation of NEST (Eighth Report of Session 2010-12, HC 1494).
The Government’s Response will be published as the Second Special Report of Session 2012-13 (HC 154). It will be available on the Committee's website on the day of publication.
