Purpose of the session
At the seventh session for the Committee's ongoing inquiry into the child protection system in England, MPs will question CEOPC (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) about the particular challenges posed by the online protection of children and young people, and the role of the police when intervening in cases of neglect or the abuse of older children.
They will also ask other key figures how ongoing social work and health reforms are making the child protection system more responsive to children in need.
