James Brokenshire to give oral evidence in scrutiny inquiry

James Brokenshire, Parliamentary Under-Secretary with responsibility for crime and security, will appear before the House of Commons European Scrutiny Committee on Wednesday 28 November at 2.30 pm

The session with Mr Brokenshire is likely to cover parliamentary scrutiny of European Union justice and home affairs measures, including the UK’s 2014 block opt-out decision. This is the second oral evidence session in the Committee’s inquiry.

Oral evidence from James Brokenshire MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Crime and Security, will be heard on Wednesday 28 November at 2.30 pm.  

The meeting will be held in a Committee Room at the House of Commons.
