Committee Chair Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP said:
Research has shown over a third of the public do not feel that a complaint about the police would be taken seriously.
This evidence session will give us the chance to consider the role that mediation could play in constructive and cost-effective resolution of complaints about the police.
