Education Committee examines support for home education

Following the evidence of home educators in September, the Committee will hear the views of local authorities and from the newly-appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary at the Department of Education, Elizabeth Truss MP, who has taken over the home education brief

Purpose of the Session

Following the evidence of home educators in September, the Committee will hear the views of local authorities to begin the second and final session of its short inquiry into support for home educators. After hearing from three different Councils, the Committee will take evidence from newly-appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary at the Department of Education, Elizabeth Truss MP, who has taken over the home education brief.
