Sub-Committee meet with Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council

As part of its recent inquiry into Reform of the EU Banking Sector, the Sub-Committee travelled to Brussels where it heard evidence from Michel Barnier, European Commissioner for the Internal Market, Members of the European Parliament, the European Banking Authority, thinktanks and other key witnesses.
As part of its deliberations, the Sub-Committee also met with Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council (pictured with the Sub-Committee Chairman, Lord Harrison, and in discussions with the Sub-Committee).
