Tuesday 23 April 2013
Venue: Grimond Room, Portcullis House
Watch the session: Leadership and standards in the police

Witnesses

3.10 pm

Chair's comments

Committee Chairman Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP said:

“To be effective and fair, the police service must represent the public it serves. However, women and minorities remain under-represented in the police, especially in the most senior ranks. We will be hearing from former senior officers about their own experiences in the service and about what can be done to make the police reflect the people.”
