MPs take further evidence on food contamination

Following the publication of its initial Report on Contamination of Beef Products (PDF 1 MB), the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee will take further evidence on food contamination on Tuesday 23 April from 3pm.

The meeting will take place in Committee Room 16 at the Palace of Westminster.

At 3pm - Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI)

At approximately 4pm - Association of Public Analysts

  • Elizabeth Moran, President
  • Dr Duncan Campbell, Past President and Honorary Secretary

The main aim of this session with the FSAI will be to explore their approach to food testing, as well as the steps they have taken since January in their investigations into food contamination. The Committee will also have the opportunity to ask the Public Analysts about their testing protocols.
