Committee take further evidence on Banking Structure in Northern Ireland

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee will hold a public evidence session in Belfast on its inquiry into The banking structure in Northern Ireland on Tuesday 17 December 2013 with representatives from the Northern Ireland Assembly and the Ulster Farmers’ Union

Witnesses:

Venue: Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings, Stormont

At 9.15 am:

  • Daithí McKay MLA, Chairperson, Finance and Personnel Committee,
  • Patsy McGlone MLA, Chairperson, Enterprise, Trade and Investment Committee, and
  • Dr Robert Barry, Research and Library Services, Northern Ireland Assembly

At 10.00 am

  • Harry Sinclair, President, and
  • Clarke Black, Chief Executive, Ulster Farmers’ Union

The Committee is planning further public evidence sessions during which they expect to be questioning representatives from the Prudential Regulation Authority, Bank of Ireland, Danske Bank, IBOA the Finance Union, Ulster Bank, and First Trust Bank.

The Committee announced the inquiry into the banking structure in Northern Ireland on 15 July 2013.
