Committee publishes updated schedule

The House of Lords Committee on Soft Power and the UK's Influence has updated its intended schedule of oral evidence sessions.

In December, witnesses include the Rt Hon Maria Miller MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, and the Rt Hon Michael Fallon MP, Minister for Business and Enterprise, who will give evidence together on Monday 9 December; and Sir John Major, who will give evidence on Monday 16 December, followed by  Tara D. Sonenshine, former Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs for the Department of State (2012-13) and former Director of Foreign Policy Planning for the US National Security Council (by videoconference). The Rt Hon Hugo Swire MP, Minister of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and Dr Andrew Murrison MP, Minister for International Security Strategy at the MoD, will appear on Wednesday 18 December.
