The Liaison Committee will publish its First Report of Session 2013-14 (HC 884), Civil Service: lacking capacity, on Thursday 12 December at 00.01 am

The Liaison Committee has obtained the agreement of the Backbench Business Committee to launch its report in the House of Commons on Thursday 12 December when Sir Alan Beith MP, the Chair of the Committee, will make a short statement about the report and respond to questions. This will be after Business Questions and any Ministerial Statements, at around 11.30 am. (This is the first use of a new Standing Order on Select Committee Statements agreed by the House of Commons on Monday 2 December.)
The report will be made available on the Committee’s website, on Thursday 12 December and copies may be purchased from the Parliamentary Bookshop (12 Bridge Street, Westminster, London, SW1A 2JX) on the day of release.
