In this second evidence session of the Committee’s inquiry, Members will have the opportunity to question the Press Ombudsman of Ireland, Irish Press Council and representatives of Hack Off! about Lord Justice Leveson’s proposals for regulation of the press, including issues around the comprehensiveness of the system and the advantages and disadvantages that would arise from statutory backing for a regulator as opposed to having a Royal Charter
