In this second evidence session, the Committee will have the opportunity to question the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the Gambling Commission about the specific benefits that will accrue to consumers from the Bill; the factors that led the Government to conclude that the potential benefits of the Bill for consumers outweighs the disadvantages to legitimate operators; and how the proposed legislation would help to reduce match-fixing
