Draft Bill evidence in Stormont

As part of its pre-legislative scrutiny of the Draft Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill, the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee will be taking evidence in Stormont.

At two public evidence sessions, the Committee will be hearing from leading members of the parties represented in the Northern Ireland Assembly, an independent MLA, the Clerk/Director General of the Assembly and from the Chief Commissioner of the NI Human Rights Commission

Both meetings will be held in Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings, Stormont

Monday 25 February

  • 2.00pm - Trevor Reaney, Clerk/Director General, NI Assembly
  • 2.30pm - Steven Agnew MLA, Leader, Green Party in NI
  • 3.00pm - Jim Allister MLA QC, Leader, TUV
  • 3.30pm - David McNarry MLA, Stormont Party Leader, UKIP
  • 4.00pm - David Ford MLA, Leader, Alliance Party
  • 4.30pm - Professor O’Flaherty, Chief Commissioner of the NIHRC

Tuesday 26 February

  • 10.00am - Mike Nesbitt MLA, Leader, UUP
  • 10.30am - David McClarty MLA
  • 11.00am - Rt Hon Peter Robinson MLA, Leader, DUP
  • 11.30am - Dr Alasdair McDonnell MP MLA, Leader, SDLP
  • Midday - Raymond McCartney MLA, Sinn Fein
