Communications Minister to give evidence on media convergence

On Tuesday 12 February, in the final evidence session of their inquiry into media convergence and its public policy impact, the Lords Communications Committee will question the Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries.

The Minister will be invited to outline the Government’s view on the pace of media convergence and the need for a long view and public policy response.

In particular, the Committee will ask about the forthcoming white paper and how the Government plans to address the questions and challenges which have been explored during the inquiry, and equally for its views on proposals made for regulatory and wider policy change in their light.

The evidence session will take place on Tuesday 12 February at 3.30 pm in Committee Room 2, House of Lords.
